Thermography (Thermal scanning)
This scan measures temperature patterns along the spine to help us see how the nervous system is functioning. Because the nervous system helps control blood flow and communication throughout the body, changes in temperature patterns may suggest areas where the body is experiencing stress or not communicating as efficiently as it should.
The information from this scan helps us better understand how the nervous system may be impacting overall health and function. It can provide valuable insight for patients dealing with challenges such as digestive concerns, frequent ear infections, allergies, sleep difficulties, or other issues related to nervous system stress.
This scan is safe, non-invasive, and provides us with objective information that helps guide care and track progress over time.
Surface EMG
The sEMG scan measures how the nervous system is communicating with and controlling the muscles along the spine. By evaluating muscle activity, this scan helps us identify areas where the body may be working too hard, not working efficiently, or struggling to adapt to stress.
The scan can reveal patterns of muscle tension, imbalance, asymmetry, or fatigue that may indicate stress within the nervous system. These findings give us valuable insight into how the body is functioning and adapting to everyday demands.
This information can be especially helpful when evaluating children and adults who may be experiencing challenges with focus, attention, sensory processing, emotional regulation, or overall nervous system function. The scan is safe, non-invasive, and provides objective information that helps guide care and monitor progress over time.
Heart Rate Variability
The HRV scan gives us a snapshot of how well the nervous system is functioning and adapting to everyday stress. It measures the balance between the body’s “fight or flight” response and its “rest and recover” response.
This scan helps us understand how efficiently the body handles stress, adapts to challenges, and recovers afterward. A well-balanced nervous system is generally better able to respond to life’s demands and support overall health and well-being.
The HRV scan is safe, non-invasive, and provides objective information that helps us personalize care and monitor changes in nervous system function over time.
Why CLA INSIGHT Scans are the GOLD STANDARD
Objective Assessment: Our scans provide clear, measurable information about how the nervous system is working. They can help identify areas of stress or imbalance in the body, even before noticeable symptoms appear. This information gives us a starting point for care, helps us make informed recommendations, and allows us to track changes over time.
Custom Care Plan: We use advanced tools, including temperature-based scans, muscle activity scans, and heart rhythm measurements, to better understand each person's nervous system health. This information helps us create a care plan that is tailored to each patient's unique needs, from infants with colic to children experiencing sensory, developmental, or behavioral challenges.
Measurable Results: These scans are repeated during progress evaluations to track changes in nervous system function over time. The results help us see how the body is responding to care, determine whether any changes to the care plan are needed, and make sure patients continue moving toward their health goals.
